Please take a moment to view our video where Tamara Klintworth, Senior Physical Therapist and a member of the VTFlex, Inc. Medical Advisory Board, explains how VTFlex works.

The Problem

Over 100 million Americans suffer from blood circulation related health issues each year. Those most affected include: Therapy & Rehab Patients, The Elderly, Office Workers, Pregnant Women, and Business Travelers.

The Solution

VTFlex can be used in hospitals, nursing facilities, rehab centers, PT clinics, offices and homes. Future models are ideal for use in an airplane during long flights. VTFlex is dedicated to help improve blood circulation and quality of life through innovative form and function.

Observations from Dr. Victor Tapson

Dr. TapsonDr. Tapson is Professor of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and Director, Center for Pulmonary Vascular Disease, at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Tapson is also Chairman of the VTFlex, Inc. Medical Advisory Board.

VTFlex, Inc. has had extensive medical and technical input from Dr. Tapson on the development and testing of the VTFlex device. Dr. Tapson stated that “low impact, controlled motion exercise for many patients with diagnosed as well as undiagnosed pulmonary diseases should be very beneficial. Many patients in this pulmonary medicine category, whether in a hospital or a home environment, are restricted in what they can do for exercise, and the VTFlex device seems to really fit that niche in the market.

The VTFlex device will further enhance circulation, improve muscle tone, and help patients recover from surgery. And it is very convenient that the VTFlex device is light weight and the same machine can be used for lower and upper body exercise. The focus group feedback to-date seems encouraging and shows a lot of patient interest. It is now timely to develop a protocol and sponsorship for a 6 Minute Walk Test for the VTFlex device.”

Dr. Tapson is actively working out the details for further testing, while the VTFlex, Inc. Management Team is beginning to actively pursue potential Strategic Manufacturing and Marketing Partners.
